Introductions

TIP: never lose touch with interesting people in your life. You just might want to blog with them at a later date…

Joceline on Lori, her friend from college:

“Lori tells the best stories, complete with facial expressions and sound effects.  An English major to the core, she appreciates life’s finer things, never does anything by halves, and will be honest with you when you need it.”

Lori on Lauren, her classmate from elementary to high school:

“Lauren is an extraordinarily smart woman. She is incredibly sarcastic and unfailingly funny. Lauren has great taste in music, has traveled around the world, and is far more cultured than me. When she chose to go to school in Utah (and consequently, move across the U.S.), my heart broke, and I still miss her here on the east coast. Luckily, there is such thing as Skype, and I also know she’s happy with her adorable husband.”

Lauren on Denise, her childhood neighbor:

“Denise is one of those people who excels at everything she attempts, but never brags about it. Her varied interests include both Jane Austen and Stephen Colbert. She has a weird obsession with media law, a ton of Filipino relatives, and is great at recommending books.”

Denise on Joceline, her former roommate:

“Joceline is the living definition of a social butterfly: she’s pretty, tiny, flits from flower to flower (seriously, she loves plants), and is adored by everyone she encounters. She’s a double threat, sporting equal parts nerd and artist. I’m continually impressed with her photography skills and her thorough knowledge of hormones/diseases.”
