Time for the weekend, and we’re obsessed with:
Joceline: Confession. Denise hates Anne Shirley of Green Gables, but I love her. How could I not? She rhapsodizes for pages on end about how beautiful nature is, and if you read my archives, you’ll realize I do too. And plus, she’s a redhead, and I have a secret love for gingers.
Anyway, I found the online texts of Anne of Avonlea here, so you can relive your childhood reading. Enjoy!
Denise: Hate is a strong word, Joceline. While I do not share Anne’s love of the Lake of Shining Waters and Canada in general, I still find her endless rambling [somewhat] endearing. Speaking of literature, play THIS game on sporcle and see how long it takes for you to guess the fictional FMLs. It’s probably my favorite thing this week. Oh, and this too:
Lori: I love clothes. I love looking at pretty clothes. I love looking at pretty clothes on the internet. JCrew has a new-ish blog called “Behind The Line” that gives obsessed customers (like me) a peek at behind the scenes of photo shoots and the current line. While you’re at it, check out Matchbook Magazine’s fourth issue, online (free!) now. Katie Armour of the Neo-Trad (a blog I’ve linked to before) is a co-editor of this adorable magazine all about living a charmed life.
Lauren: This has been stuck in my head since I saw it last week. Yup, I’m admitting to being a Gleek! Okay, really though, Glee may be a little out of control sometimes, but last week’s episode had some pretty important messages.
