I’m 22 years old and a second-year in medical school in Virginia. I take pictures, make things (knitted goods/jewelry/Babybel cheese wax-sculptures), and dance (badly) to house music. And country. I have a bad tendency to get very loud and high-pitched when I’m happy, I love ginkgo trees and all-things-nature, and I’m known to abuse parentheses and em-dashes (and had to go back through this tiny paragraph to edit them out. I allowed myself two parentheses, because I couldn’t resist. Agh! Three parentheses!)

23 years old and armed with a Drama degree (?!). I’m the Development chick at a badass nonprofit, a certified Life Coach, and seriously (seriously) into helping people and playing make-believe. Once described as “infuriatingly optimistic,” and unapologetically freakin’ thrilled to be female, I’m a lady who loves hard on life. Bright spots of it include: red lipstick, good music, bad music, guacamole, good coffee, dudes with facial scruff, kitty-cats, and the fabulous city where I live, Portland, OR.

Hello. I’m a somewhat nerdy, rather idealistic telecom policy researcher living/working in the Washington, D.C. area. Though progressively minded, I come with a side dish of tradition; my faith is very important to me, Jane Austen often slips into my everyday conversations, and my idea of a perfect evening may or may not involve a combination of Arrested Development and Boggle. My fantasy dinner party guests include RFK, JPII, St. Thomas More, and Stephen Colbert. (FYI, I would serve them food from Trader Joe’s and, unlike real life dinner parties, we would obviously be allowed to discuss politics and religion.) Oh yeah - and I’m a newborn vegan. Let’s be friends.

I am a lover of all things Virginian, southern, vintage, and sarcastic. Things I like that begin with the letter “B” include: buttons, breakfast, blogs, bourbon, The Bachelorette, baking, biking, and bubble baths. Things I like that do not begin with the letter “B” are: thrifting, iced coffee, African studies, Whole Foods, my Holga camera, jigsaw puzzles, and my lovely little family.
